To support this project I created a number of videos. They range from in depth explorations of this (and some other) work to a cute kitten video. Part off the reason I did the book was to learn how to do things I hadn't really done before like video production, making a website, running a Kickstarter. Making video was fun. I love to talk comics and talk about my work. These were an opportunity to do both.

PROMO SPOT
This was the first promo video to tease the upcoming Kickstarter.

SPINNER RACK VIDEO
This was a quick spot showcasing the comic on a spinner rack along with comics from 1979 and some other retro style comics.

KICKSTARTER PROMO VIDEO
This is the full video from the Kickstarter campaign, explaining the book, rewards, and background info.

KICKSTARTER REWARDS PREVIEW
This video shows all the comics & rewards available. I go through each item in detail. These are NOT final items, only pre-release mock-ups.

WARLOCK REPRINT REVIEW
This is a walk thru of all the different versions of Jim Starlin's Warlock that Marv el has produced over the years. Warlock was the chief inspiration for The Last Abraxan, and I wanted to pay tribute to that work here. I have also always been interested in publication design, and pcomics bhostyory. This explores how the presentation of this (and other kinds of comic book) material has evolved over the years, from cheap disposable newsprint to expensive $100+ oversize hardcovers.

MAKING A SYZYGY STONE
Process video detailing how I made the Syzygy Stone prop replicas offered in the Kickstarter

FINAL PRODUCT WALKTHRU
A quick walktrhu of all the FINAL printed rewards.

CREATOR COMMENTARY part 1
Hour long trip thru all the finished products. Page by page covering all the references, easter eggs, homages and inspirations for the comics and all the rewards.
CREATOR COMMENTARY part 2
Beyond the book itself, this video explores some of the inspirations, and influences that led to the comic, as well as more behind the scenes info, mockups, original art and more

THE LAST ABRAXAN DANCE
Now is the time on The Last Abraxan when we dance. Featuring Star Wars disco, combing Star Wars & the 70s, just like the comic.

STAR WARS COVER TIME LAPSE
The Star Wars Homage variant was done entirely in Procreate on the iPad. This video shows the whole process of pencils, inks & colors

INTERVIEWED BY
MICHAEL FITZGERALD TROY
The ever amazing Michael Fitzgerald Troy interviewed me on his YouTube channel and we discuss all things Last Abraxan. Michael is an amazing creator himself, and his videos (especially on Bronze Age comics & reprints) made me realize he was a kindred spirit.
